Mowing

It is Spring finally and I get to experience my new home in a new season.

Colorado looks so different without the layer of snow you get so used to.
Winter was amazing being a California girl, it was chilly but I never felt too cold. The only thing I hated was trying to push a grocery cart through the snow. That was annoying.... but other than that I loved it.
I am just way too excited about all the new growth.
We have a half acre so our yards are rather big. Its been so fun to see the grass just pop right back and randomly throughout my front yard annuals are coming up: tulips, daffodils, and all kinds of bright flowers. Its weird to own a house you didnt cultivate everytime I go outside I see a new rose bush blooming I never noticed before.
I love it.

Needless to say it is the first time in about 8 years we are able to wash our cars in a driveway and the first time ever we have had to mow a lawn.

We bought a John Deere lawn mover today and while Dustin mowed I made lemonade.
What a cliche'

All you need is RC Cola and a moon pie :)

We have honeysuckle on our back fence and a lilac bush that is in full bloom, smells awesome.
